Washington International Flight Academy is the premiere flight school within the greater Washington-DC metro area.

We have been operating out of the Montgomery County Airpark since 1989 and have trained thousands of pilots from hobbyists to Airline Captains.

  GROUND INSTRUCTOR

We are seeking candidates with a valid FAA
Ground Instructor License, Instrument Ground Instructor License, with a Certified flight instructor
license including instrument rating and MultiEngine instructor license. He/She will instruct
students pilots at WASHINGTON INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT ACADEMY (WIFA). Flight
instructors teach students how to fly aircraft safely. They teach students safety rules and basic
principles of flight and aircraft operation. They teach students about flight conditions,
instruments in the cockpit, landing, takeoff, and how to check all systems aboard the plane. he
will help develop curricula, instruct students in a classroom setting, conduct training flights,
determine student proficiency, report on student progress and develop new teaching methods.
he will be responsible for training students in subjects such as aircraft systems, operating
procedures, handling emergencies, problem analysis, aircraft navigation, radio operation and
aerodynamics. 10 months of experience required. must have experience in being a ground
instructor and teaching aviation to students. Please send your resume, including job history and
