ASSISTANT CHIEF FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR
- Position is available in Gaithersburg, Maryland
The company operates a flight school. We are seeking candidates with a valid Federal
Aviation Administration Airline Transport Pilot license with an airplane category and
multiengine class/instrument ratings, with a Certified flight instructor license including
instrument rating and Multi-Engine instructor license. 1500 hours total time, 1200 PIC,
1000 hours in fixed wing airplanes, 500 hours cross country, 100 hours multi-engine, 100
hours instrument, valid FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s permit, and current FAA First
Class Medical Certificate.: He will manage flight instructors and be in charge of the
administration side of flight programs, assisting the chief flight instructor. He will help
develop criteria, instruct students in a classroom setting, report on student progress, and
determine student proficiency. He will be responsible for training students in subjects
such as aircraft systems, operating procedures, aircraft navigation, and radio operation
